Ringing at Kabeltromlen
Today's alarm was at 3:00 in the morning in order to open the mist nets at Kabeltromlen before sunrise. It was worth it!
It was nice to recapture the Common Snipe (Dobbeltbekkasin), and a very bright Yellowhammer (Gulspurv).
Some office tasks also waited to be done, so we had to feed the computer with the latest ringing data in the afternoon, or reviewed previous entries to ensure them to be correct.
Pernille was very excited today because she received the key for her new appartment in Skagen - so she will be more frequently at the bird observatory and will support our work with her enthusiasm, for instance when leading guided tours.
